Two places, many stories
Moritzburg and Meissen show very different sides of Saxony. Moritzburg offers a palace landscape of water, woodland and courtly history. In Meissen, the Old Town and castle hill introduce a world of craftsmanship, porcelain and wine.
We’ll put together an outing that suits your day. Would you like to see both places or spend more time in one? We can plan either. The Little Pheasant Castle and lighthouse at Moritzburg can also be part of the conversation.
A little planning goes a long way
This outing needs more preparation than a city walk. We’ll discuss travel, distances between places, any interior visits and enough time for breaks. A vehicle or coach is not automatically provided with the tour.
Admission and tours inside the palace or porcelain manufactory are agreed separately where needed. We’ll confirm the guiding fee for your outing in advance, so you know what is included and what may cost extra.
Meissen has slopes and cobbled streets. Please tell me if we should plan a route with fewer climbs.
