A landscape to remember
Saxon Switzerland is close to Dresden, yet feels like another world. Sandstone formations and the Elbe valley offer plenty to see and plenty to talk about. The Bastei is a well-known starting point for exploring this landscape.
We’ll plan around your interests and available time. Depending on the scope, Pirna or Königstein Fortress can also feature. The suggested stops aren’t a fixed itinerary: together we’ll choose what fits comfortably into your day.
Finding the right route
Tell me how much walking you’d enjoy. Slopes, steps and weather matter more here than on a city walk. We’ll discuss the demands of the proposed paths before agreeing the route.
Travel, transport and any admission are planned separately. We’ll agree the guiding fee to suit the outing. Current access and conditions will be checked when we make specific plans.
What we'll discover
- Bastei and sandstone scenery
- Views over the Elbe valley
- Optional: Pirna
