A local programme for your travel group
When Dresden is a stop on a longer trip, the local visit needs to fit an existing schedule. Arrival, onward travel and your guests’ interests shape what can comfortably be included. As a local Dresden guide, I coordinate the visit with you and accompany your group personally.
This service is for tour operators, travel agencies, incoming agencies and group travel organisers. You retain responsibility for the overall trip; I provide the agreed guiding component in Dresden or Saxony.
Local guiding around your schedule
An Old Town walking tour
A private Old Town tour offers an introduction to Dresden. We choose a route among the city’s familiar landmarks and focus on subjects that interest your guests. The meeting point, duration and finish are agreed around your travel programme.
Guiding from your group’s coach
For an overview of the city, I can join your own coach. A combined coach and walking tour is also possible. See coach tour guiding in Dresden for details. You or your chosen transport provider arrange the vehicle and driver.
An excursion in Saxony
For a longer stay, you might consider Moritzburg and Meissen or Saxon Switzerland. We discuss local guiding, suitable visits and the time needed. You arrange admission tickets and other services separately; they are not automatically included in the guiding fee.
Agree the details before arrival
Share your intended date or several possible dates, approximate group size, preferred language and available time. Include the arrival and departure points and any fixed activities. If the itinerary is still taking shape, we can start with your initial idea.
We agree the route, meeting point, walking distances and breaks. Information about mobility needs, particular interests or your guests’ existing knowledge helps with preparation. For coach guiding, we also discuss the joining point and microphone. We agree a way to contact each other about changes on the day.
Personal cooperation and guiding fees
My tours are available in English and German. Read more about my background on the About Angela Hempel page. I plan the agreed local programme and guide your guests myself.
The guiding fee is agreed individually according to duration and scope. Additional costs such as admission tickets and transport are considered separately. Send your proposed programme for a non-binding quotation. We then confirm the date and service together.
How we plan your group visit
- Share your plans
Tell me about your group, language, available time and ideas. The date can still be open.
- Agree the programme and fee
Together we agree the route, meeting point, duration and scope of my guiding.
- Confirm the arrangements
Once we have confirmed the details together, we meet at the agreed time in Dresden or Saxony.
Good to know
Can you fit guiding into our existing itinerary?+
Yes. Share your time window in Dresden or Saxony, planned arrival point and onward journey. We agree a suitable local guided visit around those details.
Do you accompany the entire Germany or Europe trip?+
My service covers local guiding in Dresden and Saxony. I provide the agreed local part of your itinerary; you arrange and accompany the remainder of your trip separately.
Can we enquire about several departure dates?+
You are welcome to send several proposed dates. I check availability for each one; an enquiry does not reserve a date.
Which languages and tour formats do you offer?+
I guide in English and German. Formats include walking tours, guiding from your group's coach, combined visits and local excursions. We agree the route and group size in advance.
