The hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address, request time and requested address when serving the website. The exact processing and retention period depend on the hosting configuration.
Your enquiry
Selecting “Send enquiry” submits your chosen service, preferred date (which may still be open for group services), group size, tour language, name, email address and optional wishes, and any organisation and time window supplied for a group enquiry to an HTTPS endpoint hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Frankfurt (eu-central-1). An AWS Lambda function validates the details and emails the enquiry to Angela through Amazon SES. Your email address is used as the reply-to address. You can also contact her directly by email or telephone.
To limit automated enquiries and duplicate submissions, DynamoDB stores a request ID, a checksum of the entries and counters keyed by an IP identifier hashed with a secret key. These records expire after 24 hours; AWS deletes expired records automatically, sometimes after a delay. Names, email addresses and message text are not stored in this table or the application logs. Technical Lambda logs expire after 14 days. See the AWS privacy information for further details.
Angela uses the information to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, arrange and provide your tour. Processing a contractual enquiry is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Legal retention duties may apply to contractual and accounting records.
Booking calendar
We use SimplyBook.me for the baroque Old Town tour. The embedded calendar loads automatically when you visit the tour page. Your browser then connects to SimplyBook.me, which may process technical data and cookies. Booking details you enter there are processed through SimplyBook.me and made available to Angela to arrange your tour. The SimplyBook.me privacy information also applies. You can contact Angela by email or telephone instead.
Your rights
Subject to GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and where applicable a right to object. You can withdraw consent for future processing.
