Discover Dresden by coach and on foot
A guided tour in your own coach shows how varied Dresden is. Beyond the baroque Old Town, the Elbe, the hillside castles and the neighbourhoods along the river all help tell its story. I introduce the places we pass, connecting familiar landmarks with smaller stories along the way.
Your group might be travelling with a tour operator, a club or a private organiser. We start with your interests and the time you have available. Together we plan the route and possible stops, taking coach access and your guests’ walking needs into account.
Three ways to arrange your visit
A panoramic coach tour of Dresden
A guided drive offers an introduction to the city and the Elbe valley. Depending on the route, we might include the Elbe castles, the Blue Wonder bridge and the Neustadt. We choose the itinerary around your time window and agreed meeting point.
Combine a coach tour with an Old Town walk
Some stories are best discovered by stepping outside and taking a closer look. A coach tour can be combined with a private walk to places such as Theaterplatz, the Zwinger and the Fürstenzug. We discuss walking distances, breaks and timings before the visit.
Explore the surrounding region
With more time, you could visit Moritzburg and Meissen or Saxon Switzerland. I provide local guiding for the agreed excursion, while your own coach provides transport. The route and any visits are arranged individually.
Planning your coach guiding
For an initial enquiry, share your travel date, approximate group size, preferred language and available time. Tell me where the coach will arrive and where you would like the guided visit to finish. If dates are still open, we can begin with the proposed programme.
Before the visit, we agree the route, possible walking stops, microphone arrangements and any mobility needs. I guide in German and English. Additional visits and admission tickets require separate arrangements.
Guiding fee and what is included
You book my personal guiding service. We agree the fee in advance according to the duration and programme. The coach, driver, admission tickets and refreshments are separate from the guiding fee. Your enquiry is non-binding; the date and service are confirmed together afterwards.
Planning a company outing or a Dresden stop for your tour guests? We can arrange local guiding for those visits too.
How we plan your group visit
- Share your plans
Tell me about your group, language, available time and ideas. The date can still be open.
- Agree the programme and fee
Together we agree the route, meeting point, duration and scope of my guiding.
- Confirm the arrangements
Once we have confirmed the details together, we meet at the agreed time in Dresden or Saxony.
